Instigated by alarming reports and disturbing photos of violent incidents near the 30,000-hectare Koka plantation in Ethiopia, this report shares findings from The Oakland Institute’s field research in 2012 and 2013 and exposes how this massacre was related to the agricultural development schemes of the Ethiopian government and the role of international aid programs in support of such activities.
