The Rudolf Steiner Foundation’s (RSF) Social Investment Fund provides mortgage loans, construction loans and working capital lines of credit to nonprofit and for-profit enterprises in North America that are dedicated to improving the well being of society and the environment. This includes three themes: Food & Agriculture, Education & the Arts, and Ecological Stewardship. RSF was founded in 1936 by an act of the New York State Legislature for the purpose of supporting and conducting work aligned with the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian social philosopher.
