Since its founding in 1992, Land is Life has built a broad, trusted network of Indigenous leaders, communities and organizations defined by solidarity, transparency and a shared vision of the future. They foster long-term partnerships directly with grassroots Indigenous organizations to strengthen their operations and ability to defend their rights and territories. They forge solidarity by building and maintaining strong connections between grassroots causes and the world’s policy makers. Through their Indigenous-Led Grantmaking initiative, they provide direct support to some of the most overlooked Indigenous communities through timely and flexible funds that address ever-changing challenges and opportunities at the grassroots.
