E-Tech International is a nonprofit organization made up of scientists and engineers who put environmental knowledge and technology at the service of indigenous communities impacted by extractive industries. We provide analysis, training and tools so that these communities can effectively defend and restore their territory; demanding basic rights to clean water, air, soil and environmental health. The inclusion of indigenous historical and current knowledge and worldview are crucial to this protection, so that the data collected and solutions proposed reflect local priorities. In addition to long term commitments, we also respond quickly (with technical advice) to emergency situations, such as oil spills and mining disasters.
